Now we are working like Georgia O’Keeffe. We are starting with charcoal like she did.
We have been learning about the art and life and style of Elizabeth Catlett. She made her art in lots of ways, but mostly she is known as a printmaker. She made her pictures by carving lines and shapes out of wood and linoleum and then printing the blocks on paper. We are trying a similar approach!
