Lots of people just call him\u00a0Van Gogh<\/strong>. Sometimes, we like to call him\u00a0Vincent<\/strong>. You can use the name that feels right to you.<\/p>\n

And lots of people (us included) would say that he was one of the greatest artists who ever lived. He taught so many people how to draw and paint and see.\u00a0Van Gogh<\/strong>\u00a0was not a teacher, but people look at his art all over the world. Through his art,\u00a0Van Gogh<\/strong>\u00a0teaches us how to see the world. Especially nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

You can even zoom in. When you are ready make a list below of at least\u00a0ten<\/strong>\u00a0things that you notice. You might notice objects. You might notice colors. You might notice shapes. List anything and everything that you notice.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Let’s see what you can do! Look at these four details from the drawing. One of them is sky. One of them is water. One of them is hay. One of them is wood. Van Gogh wants you to know that all of these parts of the world FEEL different.<\/p>\n

First, see if you can find each detail in the drawing up above.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, get a sketchbook or a piece of paper. Get a pencil or a pen. Can you carefully copy all four textures?<\/strong><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t
