AS YOU KNOW…
Our alien friends have been coming to Earth a lot lately. And they have noticed something interesting about objects and groups of objects on our planet. Some objects can be cut in half and some objects cannot!
For example… a lightbulb
Can a lightbulb be cut in half? How would the aliens have to deal with an odd number of lightbulbs?
Think about it!
Go through these pictures one at a time. For each one, ask yourself: Can it be cut in half?? Why or why not? How??
And now for a game
First, get a piece of paper.
Go ahead. Get one. And get a pencil, too.

STEP 1: Roll two dice. Add the numbers. That is how many objects the aliens found. Write it down.
STEP 2: Roll two dice again! Add the numbers. This number will tell you what object the aliens found. Find it in the chart below and write it!
